How to build a music collection

When you first open musicGuru, your collection is empty. So filling it up is the first thing you need to do.

1. Click on Add Songs.
2. Select Fixed, writable drive.
3. Click on Next.
4. Click on Choose.
5. In the file chooser that will pop up, find the directory containing your music.
6. Click on Open.
7. Click on Next.
8. If you don't like the default location name, type another one. You can't have 2 locations with the same name.
9. Click on Next and wait until the process is finished.
10. Click on Finish.

If you have CDs or DVDs containing music files, do the following for each of your CD.

1. Insert your CD in the drive.
2. Click on Add Songs.
3. Select Removable media.
4. Click on Next.
5. Make sure your CD is currently selected in the list. There might be other removable medias present.
6. Click on Next.
7. If you don't like the default location name, type another one. You can't have 2 locations with the same name.
8. Click on Next and wait until the process is finished.
9. Click on Finish.
10. Do the same for all your CDs
