File priority
 Fields description- File priority criteria:
This field determines the way Mp3 Filter will weight each file relatively to each other.
Before ever considering any of these 4 criterias, Mp3 Filter will compare
the directory priority. If they're equal, it will compare criterias
using the list we have here. The higher the element, the sooner it will be compared. As soon as
Mp3 Filter finds a criteria in which the files are not equal, it can finally determine their
respective weight.
- File extension priority:
This list determines two things: If the extension will be included in the scan, and which extension
weights the most. If the extension is checked, then it will be included in
the scan. The higher the extension is in the list, the heavier it is (Of course, this weight will
only be important if the Extension criteria is high enough in the list above.)
- Add Custom Extension:
Unfortunately, Mp3 Filter doesn't support every single music format yet. You might have some music
files that are in an unsupported format. With this button, you can add this format in your duplicate
scan. Just click on the button, type your extension (without the dot), and click ok. Now, your
profile will look for this extension in it's next scan. Tag based scans with custom extensions
are not possible because Mp3 Filter doesn't know how to read metadata from these custom formats.
