Make a quick mp3 duplicate scan
Ok, I just downloaded Mp3 Filter, now I just want to scan my computer quickly! What must I do?
The quickest way to find duplicates in your collection is probably to run the "quick_scan" profile
bundled with Mp3 Filter:
- Select the "quick_scan" profile.
- Click on Run Profile.
- A directory selection window will pop. Select the directory containing your media files.
- Click OK.
- Wait for Mp3 Filter to be finished scanning your directory and enjoy the funny blue runner.
- The scan results window will pop. It will display the duplicates Mp3 Filter found.
- Carefully verify that each file flagged as dupe if effectively a dupe.
- Check files you effectively consider as dupe.
- Click on the "Delete" button.
- Confirm your desire to annihilate (recycle in fact) checked files.
- Click on "Close Window".
- Enjoy a cleaner music collection.
