How to...Keep the best quality mp3 only
I made a dupe scan and I did set my master collection to "Reference" priority, and my download directory
to "normal" priority. Everything is fine, but I have some duplicates in my download directory which
have a better quality than their reference file. I would like to copy it in my master collection.
What to do?
One of the sacred rule of Mp3 Filter is to never delete the reference file in a duplicate group. Overwriting the reference file by copying a dupe file over it breaks that rule. However, the feature is there :). Because it breaks a sacred rule, you cannot use it "in batch". You must perform this action one by one.
The dupe file is copied, not moved. Thus, you will probably want to delete the dupe file afterward. |
