Below are all applications developed by Hardcoded Software. All of them run on Mac OS X (10.5 and up), Windows and Linux (Ubuntu). If you're on Mac OS X 10.4, you can download older versions (there's a link on each application page).
dupeGuru is a tool to find duplicate files on your computer. It can scan either filenames or contents. The filename scan features a fuzzy matching algorithm that can find duplicate filenames even when they are not exactly the same. Although dupeGuru can scan music and pictures, the Music Edition and Picture Edition do a better job for these types of files.
dupeGuru Music Edition
dupeGuru Music Edition is a tool to find duplicate songs in your music collection. It can scan filenames, tags or contents. It does everything the basic edition of dupeGuru does, but it has more information columns (such as bitrate, duration, tags, etc..) and more scan types (filename with fields, tags and audio content).
dupeGuru Picture Edition
dupeGuru Picture Edition is a tool to find duplicate pictures on your computer. It works like the basic edition of dupeGuru, but is specialized for duplicate pictures matching. The nice thing about dupeGuru PE is that it can not only find exact duplicates, but also similar ones (different quality, different file type, etc.), something that the basic edition can't do.
moneyGuru is a personal finance management application. With it, you can evaluate your financial situation so you can make informed (and thus better) decisions. Most finance applications have the same goal, but moneyGuru's difference is in the way it achieves it. Rather than having reports which you have to configure (or find out which pre-configured report is the right one), your important financial data (net worth, profit) is constantly up-to-date and "in your face". This allows you to constantly make informed decision rather than doing so periodically.
PdfMasher is a tool to convert PDF files containing text in a ready-for-ebook HTML files. Unlike other converters, it can handle messy layouts so that what you get on your ebook reader is actually readable.
